A quick post to give better examples of strategic voting in B.C. Two key and very close ridings are Vancouver Quadra and North Vancouver. In both instances only the Liberal candidates can defeat the Conservative challengers. A vote for Green or NDP candidates may make you feel better, and if we had proportional representation, as we should, you could vote with your heart. A complex and imperfect world, however, calls for a more nuanced and thoughtful approach — a vote for the Liberals in these two ridings is a vote for a better future.
